i've set up my general profile as if it were silent because thats what i use it on most often
if u set all the sounds to off or minimum level on general and then wait for the profile name to flash up on screen (under op logo) then it will display Silent instead of General :P

[devolution]

all versions do this if you copy the settings of a defalt descret profile in your general profile, on the stand by sreen it will say descret insted of general. I think they incoperated this so you can personalise all profiles and rename them, except general so you can still use the defalts in general mode :)
