This circuit is originally made by Dr. Bizar.
I just make some changes in the circuit.
This circuit is tested and working fine in Flasher and Nokia Tools by Rolis.

I made this circuit without the PCB and connected it with wires
then enclosed with DB25 cover.

Enjoy!!!!
:D

Ohhh, pweety ;)

Times like this I wish I bothered to pay attention in technology (What's all those black lines mean :D)

/me goes and fetches his soldering iron

Cheers

Bob

<EDIT>@!$&, I can't find it :/</EDIT>

That black line is a connection. If you dont understand the schematics better study basic electronics.

Ehr, joke mate, joke...:). I do understand it ;)

Could you use Devman.exe to swap between Mbus/flasher instead???
If you need it..............

devman is necessary anyway.. the cable plugs into both parallel and serial, and devman flicks a electronic switch in the circuit to tell the cable whether to be in mbus or flash mode. without devman, cable is useless/never switches

milango.. you "just make some changes in this circuit"

would you mind telling us what changes you made, and why you made them? im somewhat suspicious you see, because without explaining yourself, or maybe even with explaining yourself (and not telling the truth) you could be posting a circuit diagram that deliberately cooks phones! :)

well i wanted to create my own. its working 100%. if you dont want it i wont blame you guys. Its the Pin17 of DB25 that make the switching. You can use it without daveman but for ROLIS only.
I attached file to expalin further. Try to measure pin 17 of the LPT port of your computer. Open the Flasher Program by Rolis and measure the voltage. Then, close it and measure again the voltage. The voltage will switch from 5V to OV. Isnt that a switching?!!!

I hope this will help you!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Ill try to use Daveman!!! Actually i needed this file also for my experiments in my cable. TY!!!
Ill just post the results!!!

A query... you say in your post 'Its the Pin17 of DB25 that make the switching' but on the schematic that you attatched pin 17 is earthed !!!!

Pin 14 of DB25 seems to be the connection that does the switching !!

Which is correct???

Sorry ...looked at it again got confused by the pin numbering layout.......... doh !

i used devman. it makes the circuit more lexible to use.
hey!!! does anybody got a working circuit?

I have got the circuit half working!
It turns on and switches the sets of inputs but I cannot flash with it!
For some reason the tx is always high when the flasher circuit is on so rollis cannot flash it as it thinks the phone is on!
Any solution to this problem, Ive checked that the wires are connected properly and that they are the correct ones!
Ive done it on stripboard pcb!

I have used some different diodes as maplins was out of stock of the other ones, could this be the cause of the problem?

depends which diodes you choose instead..
original bizare scheme uses bav103, in 4148..

tbh..

these flasher designs are very ott.
you can make dual flasher/mbus using original circuit schemes from net, use fly wire to link two m bus lines and insert switch (standard 2 pole switch) to select either m bus or flasher cable. no need special ic, no need software control.
sorry if thats bad explanation but i really cant be bothered. you should see where i'm coming from tho..

i was thinking to try same type of scheme using diode (and some other engineering) to make that auto switch..
really though i dont need this combi shit so bad..

@ milango

What voltage should be supplying the circuit?
Mine is only recieving 2.36v should I put in an external power source to increase that to 5v?

cheers for the circuit and any help you can give me!

I have built the original Bizare circuit and it works great. I am now working on his 3-in-1 cable. I am just lacking the P-FET part.

no need for external source.

use devman for switching between mbus and flasher.

ha! ha! Pico...

what we are talking is about digital switching not mechanical switching. maybe you are born when Dr. Lee de Forest produced the first Vacuum Tube.

i ask you: why do you need switch?

it's not hard to change lead from flasher to mbus cable.
electronic switch would be good, but what if that wire mysteriously get cut or has bad connection?

i choose easier flashing lifestyle, and change cables when i need to.

I've also build the mbus/flasher combo by Dr.bizar but there sims to be a problem. the mbus is working fine but the flasher dosn't work ive'd use the 1N414, what do you think is th problem? i'am using it on a 586 computer. is there any flasher that is very simple to assembe even. just flasher with no IC?

The flasher must have some IC of some kind
A it needs to invert incoming and outgoing signals :) and of course you want a buffer to stop unwanted signals

But I suppose you could build one with loads of transistors ;) hehe

Danny

I just to want to ask if this shematic will work I've seen this on the net? and could this flasher work to any model of nokia like 3210? tnx apreciate any help

This is the simplelist schematic you can make i only made 1, 2 days ago and its working 100% with all software on xp with userport installed only takes about 1 hour to make, works with...

Knok phoeonix 1b
Rollis 4.79
Geocadin flash

Its based upon the dejan flasher and works with all software ive tried so far
good luck here,s the schematic :)

tnx for wasting your time, cos i've build the dr.bizar schematic and the flasher won't work so i'ved decided to build this.

thenx a Lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no problems with the dr. Bizar 2 in 1 scheme

Thats the mbus and flasher2
works perfectly every time :)

Hi I would like to enquire as to whether anyone has a data cable schematic for a 3310/3330.

I have one of these, minus the connector head for the phone end - there are three wires - blue, black and white. Now could someone please help me as to which wire is which. i only need MBUS for update faid function (for post-flashing usage with checksums).

I have a schematic for the standard data cable, but I need to know, on this particular cable, whcih wire is which.

### Second Issue ###

Call me a dummy, but WHY are the MBUS and FBUS-TX wires joined on a standard 3310 dual f/mbus cable??.

Perhaps someone would be so kind as to describe why this is, since i knew this information years ago, but have since forgotten (DOOH!!) :-)

Hi danwood, I will like if you can send it to me the dr. Bizar 2 in 1 scheme.
I need help please because I live in a country that all is very expensive and the things don't find very easy.
I will wait you send me the schematic from Dr.Bizar 2 in 1.
Regards,
Hector.
