This is a manual for people that have killes phones or need to change language correct contact service and many problems{SW}

First of all you need a mcu ppm and a virgin eeprom of your phone
You can download it at www.gengheraenga.net {tested}

Open your flashing program that you prefer {Rollis,Nokiaflash tool
Dejan 1.00 and whatever can flash the files {I use Nokiaflashtool by Gsm brothers,Rollis 478 and when some programs say UNKNOWN FLASH ID i use Dejan 1.00.

Flash Mcu ppm from start adress 00200000
Than you need to flash a virgin eeprom
Remember The mcu ppm ee flash you can read it from a good working and high version from adress 00200000-00400000

Start Nk_calc (I use this,it is the best}and F1 F2 F3
Insert Sim card and wait a few seconds
The phone will restart and than register to the network

Remember to read old posts
You can learn too much from other people experiences
and you will not kill any phone.

THere are not Idiots or people that can't do these things
Are only people that don't know how to do it
And they need some respect
If someone can help them will feel good that he has made some good at people that he don't know they faces or voices but are at the same forum as you.
And keep up this forum,We don't want to be this forum like
Gsm city,Where people only want to sell or exchange things
THIS FORUM IS FOR HELPING PEOPLE.

Regards to all members of this forum

Remember
At nokia phones we allways can fix whatever we do.
For backup your phone
Read full flash and save in a secure place.
With Rollis or Nokiaflashtool by Gsmbrothers

I still can't get the phone to work!
I have flashed it all o.k. The phone boots up.
When I run Nk_calc, F1 works fine.
F2 gives the error :- File error: OPEN FILE ! => c:\imei.def
F3 gives the error :- File error: OPEN FILE ! => c:\sp.def

What the hell am I doing wrong?!?!?
Thanks for your help.

badger, you have to install NK_Calc in root (C:\)
That error appear because you probably have Nk_Calc noutra directoria!

faced same problem ...but easy to handle...

just copy following files from folder where you installed nk_calc and paste it on C:\

-imei.def
-sp.def

or install NK_ calc on C:\

thats it ..:D

hi. i'm a newbie re: these stuff. do i still need a flashing cable? or would a data cable be sufficient for fixing a contact service problem? (by the way, my phone's a 5210, if that makes any difference...)

Great! My 6210 is working fine now, thanks everyone.
I may have a little play about and modify the code at some time.
After modifying it which program is best to recalc the checksums etc?
When exactly would I need to load a virgin eeprom?
Thanks. (I am getting there......slowly) ;o)
