SugaBabes, Freak like me, the sample?

Some odd request this time.

I hope someone of U happen to know what was the original artist of the sample they used in the song of the SugaBabes, Freak like me.

I remember it myself from around 1978, the early new wave time.

Maybe/ hopefully someone has any idea how to get this info?

The sample on Sugababes's "Freak Like Me" is culled from Gary Numan's 1978 (Yup! u r right!) No.1 single, "Are 'Friends' Electric?".
