Custom Flash Files

this is the first ive ever heard of all this and what ive seen looks absolutly amazing! (well done!)

could someone make a smart looking flash file for my 3310 which ive upgraded to a 3315? its on V05.57....

Yuhuh, Nokiacrazi is right, this forum really tries to help those who help themselves.

You probably won't get help if you just ask for a modified 3310 flash file, but if you go away, learn about it, read up on it, read more...keep reading...then you'll probably be able to do it.

The search button is up in the top right corner, use it!

Btw, to kick you off, get a flash cable, a F/Mbus cable (or pure Mbus), and look up the following software: Nfader, genolite, Noktools by Rolis, Knok

Read up tutorials on that, then come back and ask questions

P.S. Btw, this may seem a bit curt, but it is far more satisfying to figure stuff out yourself, if you're not sure about flashing, come back and ask someone to check what you're doing (I just did that, thanks @z0z3ko_Ol)

i have a datacable and a flasher cable

thing is ive done numerous serches and none of it is easy to understand... cus im a newbie fair enough it maybe easy to you but some of us newbies havent a foggiest what your on about! i dont expect anyone to change the way they talk but at the end of the day im a newbie and havent the foggiest...

well, the reason why they're reacting is because u r asking them to make a flash files for you, making one is not that easy so it's better if u ask them HOW to do this or to do such thing (be specific also), try it and you will learn a lot!

1) I take no resposability for fucking up your phone, the below is true as I would do it, but i don't flash that much
2) If you are really not sure, do everything but the uploading of the flash, then ask someone to test it for you (I don't have a 3310 sorry)
3) If you really muck up the phone just reupload the full backup

(And to anyone else, can you check that is right?)

Connect your flash cable to the phone
Fire up knok
Read in full flash (This is your backup, don't lost it, don't edit it)
Read in flash (This is the one you are gonna edit)

(Save the above in *.fls format)
(If you have 3310 v5.79 then rar the normal flash up and post it here if under 2megs, or on a website please!)

Then you edit that normal flash file.
Use Nfader to put fading on it
Then upload this flash to the phone
Disconnect the flash cable and reconnect the mbus cable
Click update FAID
(I would probably do a full factory reset as well)
If all is well you'll boot up with an fading lights

i added the "Fade In" "Fade Out" but you cant upload in NFader?

can someone send me some instructions how to use NFader please as these instructions didnt work for me im affraid...

m8 u have to save the flash by clicking on 'Apply', then use Rolis to flash it on the phone!;)

your forgetting to re-calculate the checksums before you flash it to the phone. Its been a long time but i am sure that ppmedit/genolite/nfader does it. One of em does but i cant remember
