The above posted gd55 software unlocks ok but also changes IMEI to a barred one, so the phone is useless in countries where they ave IMEI checking enabled.

ive entered codes in obvoiusly just testing now when i go into it it says phonecode locked!

yes..this GD55 unlocker is really annoyed many people for a long time...even now I am not dared to offer unlocking for any customers..

FREE Software in the past always changed IMEI ..

and later on, my friend bought another software which doesn't change IMEI..BUT ...it's strange he can't make call from the unlocked phone after the flashing...(his phone is 100% not stolen phone)

my friend,I just used above gd55 unlocker

and it unlocked ok but also changed the IMEI to 35044801-0000700 and this IMEI is not the same as on the back of the phone and this new one is also a barred one so this solution is no good in a 1st world country but it works here in the caribbean (3rd world, I believe Pakistan is also a 3rd world country) since we do not have IMEI checking enabled.

I have software for GD55 to unlock and restore IMEI.
In fact I can enter any IMEI I want with this program, it was and is not free available yet and the procedure is a very long one, about 20 minutes but the result is a GD55 which has the original IMEI and is unlocked too.

I flashed about 50 or more GD55 wih this gd55a11.zip flasher (I had it before u posted the link) and all have the same IMEI (35044801-0000700) next time when u use gd55a11.zip software check the IMEI and please post it, u will see it is the same I have above.
Others r welcome to try and post their results whoevers uses this flashing program (gd55a11.zip) will have the same IMEI (35044801-0000700). And attached is the pic of gd55a11.zip.

i use winmodo ... flash file is english/russian pack.
after flashing phone is unlock..but imei is change ..

this was befor last monthe...its was my 1st Gd55 which i flash .

and that flash is change my imei..

but now i m giving u flash file which i flash 5 GD55 and its not change imei any of my phone ..tested by me

@ superman 1st read the Date of my post than talk ..


and also when i flash my 1st phone with winmodo as giving post .. it change my Gd55 imei but phone works 100 %..

if some on have dought than kindly do not ues this flasher..
other wis dont balam me ...

if pakistan networks are so good why cant i send a text message abroad to a pakistani mobile, does it drop on the way like the phone calls. its ok to send it from pakistan cos the networks want the money but they wont receive texts from outer networks i thought they were ok with uk.

also i can send text to pakistan mobiles from a pakistani website it works for the pakistani networks self-interest, im beginning to wonder that if they are that stingy so they might have borrowed extra money to upgrade the networks so that they can verify IMEI...........

Hi, I am just a newbi for this forum, and I tried the sofware last night and its works fine. and IMEI is the same as on the back side, so there is no change of IMEI. Superman you should delelte your software and download this new one.

May I suggest Nihad to again post the software or a link for that version of his soft which does not change the imei. There are two of them here and may be that is causing some confusion !

I am using WinmodoP.exe, all it says is 'signalling' and the screen of the phone flashes a bit but the program stay there.

SO how long does this program really take to flash a Gd55.

yes lately most imei's stay original but once a while i get the ***000700 one. gd55 Imei chane is out for free, can enter any imei u want if u use it right, but takes about 30 min each procedure (not worth it).

The unlocking sw does change the IMEI on a lot of the handsets, and as mentioned the IMEI's that they are changed too are barred, at least in the UK.

Much easier to use the calculator and enter codes, much safer method, and easier.
