BANANNA PHONE - Nokia 8146

Can anyone unlock these phones? i have a datacable and a flasher cable but need "OLD" working software for it...

i dont know what network it was originally on as i bought it off ebay for £20

he said One to One but i dont know exactly

its a nokia 8146 (matrix/bananna phone)

+1 said CODE ERROR

and the +2 to +4 just said "SAID CARD WAS NOT RESTRICTED" then put my o2 chip in and it says "INVALID SIM CARD" still...

any ideas????

Its only a single band phone the 8146 (1800mhz) it was the 8110 that took the 900mhz! So basically it will only ever work on t-mob and orange (in the uk anyway)

still doesnt work on my orange card even with the codes given....

there must be a way of unlocking it with cable..

maybe you'll find something in this site (http://mobile.box.sk). there are many old programs there. from the dct2 age.. :)

Using the old DCT2 mastercode generator i got:
1982499873

Try entering that in the same way as the above ones.. Good luck :)

my datacable came today...an MBUS cable not a flasher....

could this work if i had the program? any ideas what program would do it???

Well theres "New NokiaTool" which was designed to unlock the older dct2 i believe - worth a shot i guess :)

Heres what I use.

BTW where did you get a 8110 MBUS cable I have bought a few and it says fbus/mbus on the pack. I try to use it, it doesn't work open it up what do I see FBUS only .I managed to get one but I now need a other one for the other shop.
