7210 Fido Codes didn't work

Hi there, the unlock codes provided for my 7210 for fido gave me an code error message. So maybe we can try again.

I tried the first code, 7th, and then 2nd. They all give me CODE ERROR message. I've have that Fido phone don't always unlock easy. Some even say they go under a seperate operator code. Is there a way to check what the code is from the phone.? Are there any unlocking programs I can get that do unlocking via IrDa? Well How about we try another set of codes.... Hopefully we don't lock me phone.

if u entered more than five times wrong code...
the only sollution that remains is cable...

master codes solution will not work anymore...the phone will not accept any code after 5 wrong tries, even if the code is the right one.

All Microcell backbone provider's DCT4 phones are not unlockable remotely! New algorithm has been customised for them and unlocking can only be done by cable! I have experienced this on over 5 Fido Nokia 7210s!

Is the algorithm in the UEM, or is it in the flash - that is if you flash a Fido 7210 with generic firmware, does this magically 'fix' the remote unlock problem?

if the UEM is custom, then theoretically there should be unique identification on them. If it's just programming, then someone should have an idea somewhere what programming change results in non-remote-unlockable phones.

I think this is a research you buds need do in order to save some money and unlock the phone remotely. I'm sure there are many others, like myself, is looking for a way to unlocking fido 7210 remotely. : )

There are multiple website on the internet stating that they have found the way to remotely unlock phones from companies like Fido, ATT, etc. I guess if it's "multiple" websites, then I don't think it is a scam. We just need to find the algorithm to it I guess?

To resolve the FIDO issue the following should be made:

1. Download http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/downloads/bWinLock.zip

Dongle ist not required for read out phone information!

2. Connect a FIDO / SIMPRO phone with F-Bus-Cable and read out phone information. The important value is the configuration key. Please post the configuration key here.



There are mcc/mnc values that are used for calculation, that don't exist in real, e.g. 206-00 in Belgium for Debitel. This should be similar in Canada.
