help me unlock my 9290

I just got a 9290 and was told it was unlocked but when I put my cingular sim in it it says{insert sim } but when I put my wifes t-mobile in in It works fine ,so I guess its still locked. I see these romote unlocking sites but none of them list the 9290.Im so pissed of I think im gonna just sell it,

If it says insert sim then I guess the sim is not making the right contact with the sim reader or the sim work's on a diffrent voltage to the phone, anyway if you want to unlock your phone just get yourself a 9110 m/bus cable and a copy of eeprom tools and away you go. (for more info on unlcoking use the seach for 9210 unlocking).

Thanks , you were on the money. I bent the sim card holder just a bit and it put a little more pressure on the sim now its fine .I guess I should not have put it on ebay so fast, but between trying to get my accompli009 wap setting to work with cingular and the 9290 giving me problems I just got pissed off.
