Hi y'all

after succseding with my 6150 flash i tried to repair a 3330 with a contact service message.

1. read out the flash and saved it with Rolis4.78, which reported a bad MCU Checksum. saved it anyway.
2. recalculated the checksums of the MCU and wrote the whole flash back (y does Rolis nag about the EEprom rewrite? is it really that dangerous?)
Updated FAID with Nokiatools 1.8 (it reported a success)

BUT:
phone still doesnt find a network, resets all the time etc.
I read out the MCU with Nokiatools and it reports a MCU memory reading error at 0x100000 , and if I do a MCU EEProm readout it reports MCU memory reading error at 0xA00000

So..here are the questions:
1.what can be done about this now? Did I something wrong or incomplete?

2. I downloaded the 3330 eeprom+pmm 00550000.fls out of the d/l section(EEPROM Directory) . Rolis does not accept it - which software is this written 4?

3.I d/l the 3330-450C out of MCU-ppm section ... this is the ppm only - where can i get an MCU file?

Thank you very much, guys

try to update with clean and work full fls file.
then use noktool to update faid, clear sp locks and change the imei.

that should repair your mobile. (if there isn't hardware problem)

try to search in this forum to learn more. there is many way to repair the phone

reheat cobba IC...

I've read a lot of suggestions to reheat certain things (from genetalia to parts of the phone), but could some briefly explain what is the cobba IC (I guess the main chip), and how it's reheated? Or point me at a previous thread :)?

Cheers

I can only stress that hardware modifications should only be tried in desperate and\or necessary times! The problem you are facing sounds more software related!

If possible, borrow a working 3330 and read that one, then flash as a whole flash back! If you need to download one, try here http://www.freegsm.biz/modules.php?name=Downloads&sd=660

use these, build a flash file in rolis, To do so, click "load MCU", then "Load PPM", flash that to phone, then click on the middle traffic light in rolis (Between Read and Write), select the eeprom you downloaded, write to the address the eeprom was named (0550000) that'll finish the complete flash! Turn it on, connect F\Mbus, open Knok95 and:
Quickset FAID, Reset User interface settings, Reset Full Factory Settings, Reset SP Locks, Set new IMEI, Use original IMEI, Quickset faid! In that order! Your phone will be up and running in about 30 secs (Phone initially will have no network, but will reset after 20 secs or so and all will be well!);)
