holding Caller ID

Hi all ,

My net work does not allow to hold the Caller ID, is there any way to hold my number, i am usuing Nokia 8890.

"My net work does not allow to hold the Caller ID" - do you mean that you can't hide the caller ID?

try dialing a number with #31# before.
ex. to call someone with the number 12345, type: #31#12345.

another way is:
Menu » Settings » Call Settings » Own number sending » Off

and in some networks you can also type #31# and send it, the phone will display "Requesting" (or something like that) and then all your calls will be hidden, untill you send *31#. however this method doesn't work on all networks (at least in Orange Israel).
