I've had my nokia 6100 for about one and a half month, and I think the sound quality of it sometimes is very bad.
The degradation in quality seems to happen when the sound from the other person becomes too load. It is independent of the volume setting on my phone, and I experience it with both land lines and mobile phones at the other end. It sounds like when an AD converter is feed a too loud signal resulting in clipping.
I'm in london an use vodafone, but I've been unable to find any relation with signal coverage or other network factors, so I'm beginning to suspect software audio encoding problems.
Are there others who have had similar problems with this same phone?
