"message Sent" Alert

I'm new to this forum, and I'm just wondering if anybody knows how to put an alert when a msg has been successfuly sent by your celfone.

Hmmm. There's delivery reports if that's what u are looking for.
It's a buit in feature in most nokia fones, but ur provider must support this feature if u want to use it.

Goto msg settings->Delivery Reports->ON

I think it is not possible as the fone has no tone for this function to change it

Yes, an alert tone when the phone says "Message sent". Just like when its "Check operator" but with different tone.
Is it possible?

at first ask your self a question
Does the fone make any sound when it writes msg send??
ANSWER is NO so there is no tone in this function to change it..we can change any tone but if there is a tone as making startup music instead of the low beep you hear when the fone starts

ah.. that can be done, but it will need hard programming.
so, general answer is no.

too bad nokia doesn't have this BELL function as in pc ^G.
