Anyway to get chinese text for 3650 thats not loaded with it? mine only comes in English and Philipino.

JUST REFLASH IT WITH CHINESE MCU

use a fps8, with a pc, run phenix, remember install the v3.15 for china mcu. connect ur phone with the flash loading adapter, connect then phone and pheonix. reflash the new firmware with the xxxxxx.xC4 mcu. this is all i can remember, although i did it everyday.

Actually....... the program for viewing chinese in bot english 7650 and 3650 is out for a long time~~

just go to the Q9 website and download the Q9 package for english 3650 (http://www.q9tech.com/gb/services/download/3650_1.php3)


Install teh file 3650exxxx.sis first and then the chifont one

However...... the program eat up nearly 2Mb in my 7650 :cry:

the only problem is that the size of the Q9 programme is too BIG (2MB) for 7650

the chi software is in simplified chinese, the 7650 chi q9 version doesnt work at all, onli option is the 3650 wan.

I downloaded the cracked version from lvckyluke and installed it together with chinese fonts provided in Q9 official website, to my 3650 English version. I can input the chinese character and view those I input. When surfing WAP, the chinese character still blocky. When receiving chinese SMS, it shows symbols instead. Anyone have this kind of problem? Is it normal?

My only problem now is I have difficulty keying the chinese chars coz is in Traditional chinese keystrokes method, it doesnt have HanYu PinYin method with simplified chinese....any advice on this? Thanks!

In fact you can use Han Yu Pin Yin in Q9. When you entered Q9 input screen (the 3650 keypad layout), hold "pencil" button and press "*" button once or twice. The input method will be changed. One of them is the Han Yu Pin Yin.

Are you using English version of 3650? If yes, can your chinese SMS displayed correctly? For me, both simplified and traditional chinese SMS only display symbols.

I am using 7650e, so far able to display chinese sms correctly..unless i dont ON the Q9 it will display as squares...:p

it should work. i've managed to recive chinese text without a problem.
So is the crack ver. working?
coz the last ver i used was uncracked... deleted the bloody thing.
not that user friendly coz i wanted english input as 1st option....
but kinda hassle to keep having to press the pencil button to change to english text.

I finally solved the chinese text display problem on my 3650e. :D Here's how I solve it:

For WAP surfing, after selecting "Services" from the menu, select "Option" > "Settings" > "Font Size". Select "Small" or "Smallest" will let the chinese characters displays properly instead of blocky text.

For SMS, it seems that it only happened when sending SMS via email (a facility provided by my mobile service provider). Probably it's due to different Windows encoder or middleware. When sending SMS from handphone to handphone, the chinese text can be displayed properly.

the Q9 input is for phone memory only.. n it not fully crack... after 30 days trial u cant use it anymore

yup, thats right ! the chinese q9 that was claimed cracked was only a partial job only. it breaks the 5 days barrier of the original file but it has a 30 days or so limit to it. (try fast forwarding the calendar to a month, the software quits functioning) hope someone can put an end to our agony and come up with a REAL crack for it, or better still maybe a keygen :-)

For Q9 Tech chinese software:
Whenever the program prompt nag message (usually after 5 days of usage), just use SeleQ, HandFile type of file explorer to delete:

cngsktmm.dat

and

yehoe134.rsc_01

from your phone c:\system\data folder,

the trial counter will be reset, and you're free from the nag (prompt to purchase) for another 5 days! By repeating this every 5 days you can use the full feature of this program as long as you want!

Is easy rather been nag.......Enjoy....:D
