Format MMC?

Hi Guys,
I have a 128MB MMC in my 9210i. I need to know the procedure to format the card. It is a new card....and i have installed some software on it......but now i get a message saying "corrupted/unformatted memory card". Or if i try to access the memory card in the control panel, it says "Memory card is not ready"...
Your help will be appreciated!!!!

In the files manager press menu\memory card\format memory card

try formatting through these steps;
swich off mobile and then take the bettery out for atleast 4,5sec
insert the b8ry and when the nokia logo appears on lcd screen press Shift+Ctrl and F for 3 4 times and format ur device...try it!

Thanks guys......I have tried to format.....and at 99% .... a note pops up saying "invalid"......

any other ideas????

connect ur phone to pc via dlr 2l code and then open 9210 communicator explorer(this prog is already provided by nokia in the cd which comes along with phone).in this explorer u can see two drives c: and d:,c: is for device memory and d: drive is for memory stick.now right click with mouse on which ever drive u want to format and select format.
if u r formatting both the drives plz be sure that u first format memory stick.

i bought kingston 128mmc and while i was formatting
i saw the same message.
pc suite WILL NOT SEE the D: drive.
i thought that my mmc was destroyed and i went to the store.

the mmc card can formatted with a digital camera or another
device which supports mmc(maybe a card reader, too)
even 3650 cannot see your mmc

If you keep getting errors or the phone cant read the memory card then your pins may be damaged.
Thats what happened to my first comunicator when i put a different type of memory card. The pins went out of place.

Thanks for all the help provided by all of you!!!!!!
I have tried all the options.....without any luck!!! I have spoken to the seller of the card, and he thinks it may be the card that is faulty.....and he is prepared to refund or replace!!!
