SUMSUNG A 800 REFUSE TO Restart again after adding tones :( Help Plz

i've added some ring tones (mmf) to my a800 (using sgh t100 soft*pcLink gsm v1.1 )... ,when Done it refuses to restart ! only a flashing blue light on the screen ...and it can't be turned off too ...only when i remove the battery....

how to do plzz????

ps : i can connect it to my pc and see the rings i added !

I've had the flashing blue screen thing twice before; mins happened after I tried to enter an unlock code to the phone and I accidentally reset the EEPROM!

Flash the phone and it should be ok...

i have a data cable .., what softwere i have to use ??

I had that problem of the blue light flashing, a box on screen and not turning off, the other day... but it sum how just went away.. all i did was take off the battery for 4 hours, ad just left it.... i tried turning the fone on after, and it just worked.... not even sure wot went wrong :S... all i did was try to add sum ringtones using a T100 datacable... serial not USB

If what Vicas says doesn't work, use WinTdn and some flash files... and use a charged up battery cos it can take a while; i tried when the batt was half full and it only got half way so had to take it back to samsung! Don't turn the phone on; plug in the cable and start the flash...

Alternatively; if you're in the uk and you've had the phone less than a year, take it to a carphone warehouse and they can send it to samsung who'll fix it for you free cos it's under mfc warranty. that's what i did with mine; and if the repair fails they'll send you replacement handset, easy eh! :cool:

same happened to me reconnected fone with pclink deleted what i added fone restarted
got serial to usb connector with t100 cable can use ringtones nps with easylink

about how much would a serial to usb adapter thing cost? coz atm, i'm just using a T100 serial lead that i borrowed off a mate.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION !!!!!!!

i think it can be useful for all of you :)

i've just reconnected the phone to my pc ...and i deleted the rings added......and i restarted the phone !!! IT'S WORKINNGGG :D

but i still need to know what's wrong with the cable.....i mean what's the best solution to add ring tones to samsung A800 ????
