Error in 6610 flashing

what causes the error "error erasing flash "
I tryied to flash a dead noklia 6610 but it cannot get its flash erased completely,it stops at 0x01fA0000 and then it says communication error. What could be the cause ?

try with different firmware

better the oldest ones...

if not working with other flasher too - then u may have a faulty UEM

where can i download the firmware....I tried www.gengheraenga.net (http://www.gengheraenga.net) where i downladed the firmware that i have tried with but the site seems to have probs lately

The flashes at free gsm team have taken the whole day today but they dont get downloaded................. i have searched for another site but failed,Do you know of another one with 6610 flash download

My friend, i can download from that site i gave you with 150-300 kb/sec/

It is not my fault that u have a bad internet connection.
Just go to someone that has a poerfull connection, like LAN or something.

Alright I managed to download the flash files from freegsm team but still the phone erases up to 17A0000 then says error erasing flash.But when I try to write only the PPM it does so but still the phone is not alive.What exactly is damaged in this phone ?

it may be an power problem.

i believe u have cheap flasher with USB power.

try to flash the phone on another PC.

just had this problem with a 7210. could not flash it with china flasher, only with the lowest firmware, and only on another pc.

I have tried flashing from two computers..........Desktop and laptop still in vain
