max size for mmc?

hi guys newbie here. i was wondering what the max size for an mmc card for my nokia 3560 is?

i initially thought it was 256mg but now i can only find 128?

which is it?

so sad that never support SD which now have 256MB...

cheers guys. thats what i thought. one other thing, what is the software that i can use to convery mpgs to smaller 3gp or realmedia files as all my current mpgs are too big????

MMC is 512Mb (I think), but SD there is 1Gb of memory, and next year you can buy 4GB SD memory card...

I have a MMC with 256 MB and I think its the biggest yet. But it will work only with firmware 3.x and higher. Not with the factory installed version 2.50.

so 3650 do not support 256MB of MMC? have u test it before?

I have it already, but i don't know how to use that ( how to convert it, it setting, and from what menu i must start, eg file, edit, view??)

Hi, I'm not stupid. I wrote from an another forum, that the 256 MB should work - but the post'er dont say, that he use a beta version of 3.x firmware. And I cant get this in Europe yet.

Therefore I orderd a card tried it a dozen time - but the phone cant read/write it.

Shit, I must wait for Nokian people's upgrade.

@ gail,

hi, you can order 256 MB cards at internet computer shops like "Alternate" in Germany. Price is < 100 Euro.

And the firmware? I'm waiting and waiting for 3.x but Nokia will not release it in europe yet.

But if you are a "self flasher" you can get the firm from specially sites. But it is no description, for which language it is.

About firmware upgrades well supposedly through nokia but I don't know in other countries but here in my country some cell phone stores would upgrade your phone for like $10-$20 and if you know someone for FREE :) Here in my country that is...
