Hi all, its time for my 6610 to go, ive had fun with it but i want to get rid of it and thinking of getting a 6100 but is it anygood? Are there any known problems with the phone? I know its very similar to 6610 but without radio but does it still have the very fait screen problem the 6610 suffers from? I have heard alot about the buttons being difficult to press, will this be a major problem after using 6610.
Cheers for your comments

6610 is a better phone then 6100 as far as my opinion is concerned. If your only choice is 6100, I should say that you must stick to 6610 only. The faint screen problem is common in nearly all 40 series phones except 7250 as I have'nt experienced such problem in the phone. If you really want to upgrade I will recommend 7250 for sure. It is the best Nokia has to offer today in small phones.

7250 is just too expensive at the moment, i can probably sell my 6610 and get a 6100 for the same amount. I never used the radio on 6610 so i guess 6100 will be less to carry!
Is the faint screen problem still present on 6100? Also are the keypads difficult to press?

There is nearly no difference between 6100 and 6610. It won't cut much weight. Secondly, the faint screen problem is common in both the phones.

DOH! i do hate that faint screen problem. I might as well save myself £100 and get a 3510i :D

Contrast is nowhere related to the faint screen problem. Neither any firmware fix can rectify it. It's a hardware fault (LCD problem).
