nokia 7250 data cable

hi i just got a new data cable for my nokia 7250. But the cable does not fit into the headset port on the phone but in the gap behind the battery. The problem is my pc wont recognise the connection. Ive got nokia phone suite and mobi mb version 1.2.2 but neither will work. If anyone knows how i can sort it please email me on [email protected]

The cable you have brought is not compatible with PC Suite. So it won't detect it at all.

MobilMB should detect your mobile. If it's not, it may be a driver problem. 7250 is not supported by MobilMB version 1.2.1. But I may be wrong. May be it is only supported by version 1.2.3.

PS: I always recommend a InfraRed over any data cable. Go for it if you can. It's compatible with all the softwares like Oxygen, MobilMB, LogoManager and above all PC Suite.
