what can i do about it cos i paid loads for it and the person i got it off moved? or just disappeared!

2 ways
first swap the phone with somebody.
second replace UEM,rebuilt imei and bingo.

who could i swap it with and how do you replace a uem? i build computers so i could do this i just need some details

if u r and thephone is legit as far as u kno, iss jus o2 bein ass holes again and blockin ur sim... its to a lot of people... includin me which is y i say fuck o2

As mentioned either the phone has been barred where its been reported stolen or the sim has been deactivated by the network... its probably the first one as you bought the phone of someone you dont know

Changing the IMEI in the UK is illegal and "UEM,rebuilt imei" will be expensive as well, as far as im aware there is no free equipment to do this and the equipment I have seen even from my own cheap suppliers is going to cost you more than the phones worth... there are probably other people who will do it for you, however it depends how much your willing to pay. Cheapest option would probably be to sell it abroad
