Try to enter those codes (without simcard inserted) when it shows "no sim card" :

*2767*3855#
*2767*637#

(the phone will restart automatically, don't remove the battery!!!)

Let me know if it works

AARRRRGGHHH!!! NOOO!! the first one is EEPROM reset, it'll screw the phone completely! the second one is the samsung unlock for a300, a800, there are other threads with the v200, t100, s300 sequences out there...

DON'T USE THE FIRST ONE, THE SECOND ONE (*637#) WILL WORK!!

Hi Sadie,

You enter the code when the phone is on and the sim card isn't inserted. Remember to do this with a fully charged battery in the phone, then if something goes wrong you can flash it without too much trouble:

- Turn phone off, remove sim-card.
- Replace battery and turn the phone on. The phone should give a message like 'insert sim-card' or 'no sim-card'.
- Enter the code, the phone should then reset (flash off, then on again and give the same message.
- At this point turn the phone off and test the phone with a foreign sim-card, i.e. a sim-card the phone is mean't to be locked against and it should work!

I hope this helps.
