MobiMB Software Error

Hello :P

Just a question. When load up MobiMB i get an error:

"Error 800700c1 Initialising communications layer"

Could this be that i don't have my data cable connected as yet, or is it a program problem? If anyone gets this error aswell, can you please help :D

Just forgot to add that i have and am running Windows XP Profesional.. if that helps. If you can run MobiMB on your windows Xp sys, message back.

Hey David,
Just to let you know, I'm also running XP Pro. but I haven't had much trouble with MobiMB v1.2.3 and my nokia 6800 - via irda.
Occasionally it takes a while to recognize the phone's connected, but I don't get any errors like that.

I also noticed your other message regarding software for images/logos. I'd say Nokia Data Suite 5.1 is the best for most functions. However, it doesn't have the ability to upload operator and group logos to your phone, so that's about the only thing I use MobiMB for.

Ok, cool. Hrmm, did you buy your MobiMB software? Anyways, just one more thing, what is idra... does that just mean a data cable?

irda is another term for an infra red connection.. so yes, it's like a data cable - without the cable. hehe
