Hi all. I just wanted to post a message for all those people using Windows XP and are having problems running the Motorola PST. I found a possible solution and I figured I would post it here for people that need it. Here is what I found:
Go to this link and download the Windows XP compatibility tools:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/.NetStandardServer/Install/2.6/NT5XP/EN-US/act26.exe
Install the software then reboot your PC.
After you reboot, go to the PST installation file and Right Click on the file and select Properties. You should see a new option "Compatibility" Click that and check the box that says Compatibility mode, then select Windows 2000 and hit OK.
Now run the file and HOPEFULLY it will install the PST on your computer with Windows XP.
I do not use Windows XP myself, but I found this information and thought others might find it useful. The person who gave me the information said he used it with the PST version 4.8. I am unsure if this method will work with other versions, or if it actually works at all. Good luck and I hope this information helps you.
If you get this to work, please post here and let others know. I haven't actually tried it, so I have no clue if it works.
