INCREDIBLE! Unblock a BLOCKED sim card via Motorola handset!! :-D

Ok just overheard this from a "head of phones" at my company on the phone to a guy at Vodafone.

Basically the call was liek the following:

Company: "Could i order a new sim card please... its 07773****** and it is in a motorola T280 - the owner managed to BLOCK THE SIM!"
Vodafone: "I can give you a code to enter to unblock it"
Company: "But its past unblocking its had PUK entered incorrectly!
Vodafone: "Yes but still it can be UNBLOCKED - its a motorola feature"
Comapny: "Ok then..."
Vodafone: "The code is:"

**05*PUKCODE*NEWPIN*NEWPIN#

Now to be honest i havnt seen it entered in the phone but a genuine Vodafone person said the EXACT above and the guy who deals with phones for our company has used this method before and it works!!!

Thats how you enter the PUK code into a motorolla!
or the old ones anyway, it doesn't actually say enter puk code it just says 'SIM BLOCKED'

its a standard gsm code mate, only other i remember is
**04*oldpin*newpin*newpin#
to change pin one (used to get round simlock in old nokia)
