please help on this fone.. when turned on, it boots normally but then clears its display and unusable. it isn't even recognised in noktool by rolis. i tried to flash it with a new flash but still no success. ive read in this forum that i can downgrade so i tried to flash it with a 8250 but same results however it can already be read in rolis. this would have worked but i can't clear sp locks..

im sure someone here might have the same problem. i really need to make this usable. i dont even care if it has a flash of other models...

THANKS!

What do you mean "boots normally"? When you turn your phone on, it should display a black screen for a second or so, then beep, then say Insert Sim Card! If you get no black screen, then the LCD is not functioning! Clean the contacts on both the LCD and PCB with isopropenol and then clean PCB contact with an eraser! If you DO get a black screen, but no beep or message, then you have a software issue! Try to use a back-up from another phone!!!;)

thanks for the reply but..

it boots like this, first a black screen then next.. nothing..

i tried flashing it with another full flash but same thing. i even brought it to repair shops but they can't find the problem.

when i read the phone in Rolis or any mbus softwares, it fails.

Try this:

1)Connect phone via Mbus cable, power on and run Eeprom Tools v4.0
2)Uncheck "DTR On" and click "Read Info" (Magnifying Glass)
3)Allow to read phone info, click "Test"
4) If fail tests regarding Cobba, phone has hardware fault!, If return PPM or MCU fail, goto step 5.
5) Open Nfader By Al, select file (*.fls), uncheck "Fade on" and "Fade Off" if you do not want fading leds, check "kill CS/FAID" and click apply!
6) Flash newly saved file to phone and update as usual!

Please post your results!;)

still no progress..

i actually brought the unit already to a repair shop and tried to fix hardware troubles, if any..

but they can't find the problem. they said they even tried to replace ic's but same thing. what i have in mind is to replace the ic's with other models like maybe 8850 or 8250...

anyone who have tried this?? please post.

THANKS!

I heard of problems like this being fixed by using non-genuine lcd's before!? Could you also post the results of the Eeprom tools test if there was any fails!?;)
