3310 no signal

could anyone help me please? im new to all this, but lastnight i tried to flash my phone with a 3315 flash file i followed all the instructions and did evrything as it said and at the end the phone worked turned on ok and got a signel but then just decided to swich itself off then turn back on, now all it says is either insert sim, sim not accepted, or just will not find a signal, ive tried lots of programs with all the fade and all that but it still wont find a signal, i then tried to flash the previous file back on to the phone and it did that ok and accepted the sim but still wont get a signal anywere could anyone help me at all on what i could do?

Did you breifly get a signal then lost it, or does it come on blank? When you reflashed the old image back, did you check the IMEI wasnt corrupt, and did you update the FAID then? Make it clearer what is happeneing and I will try and help

here's how i do it (hope it can help)

using rolis
flash 3315 MCU PPM to 3310

connect to mbus
open up knok V22
quick set faid
set imei
reset sp locks :)

when i flashed the phone with the 3315 file, after its all done when you turn the phone on it says bt cellnet but has no bars on the signal area then after a few minutes it looses it, and when you try to access the phone book by pressing the down key it just says sim not ready no mater how long you wait i tried it after 10 mins and it still said sim not ready. is that any more help?

hi after flashing, setting imei by knok22 and quick set faid by knok 22.try resetting its defaults by using nokia profile. hope it gonna works by this time...

It may be the flash file that you are using, I had a similar problem with a 3310 when i upgraded it to 5.47, I went back a software version and that fixed it. May be that later versions cannot yet be modified (FAID etc), try another flash file or an earlier version and see what happens. I used eeprom tools 3.1 for FAID set etc. You will need an MBUS cable for this

it was v4.24 then i put it up 2 v5.13 and its working fine then it went up to v6.03 but i couldnt get it to work so went back down 2 v5.13, when i flash the 3315 file on it works ok when i turn it back on it works ok but freezes on certain things, so it said to reset the sw version so i did and it worked find but all the menues e.t.c have gone :(
