Will phones barred in one country work perfectly in another country. For example will phones barred in UK or Germany work in Ireland???

a barred phone may or may not work in other countries, depending on the network that barred it.

networks from around the world can share their barred imei lists, so if a phone is barred in one country it's barred everywhere.

but as much as i know networks don't do it, so a phone barred on a network in the uk will be barred on all the networks in the uk, but will work in othr countries.

-edit-
it's also depending on the country, here in Israel for example, networks don't share their "blacklists", so if a phone is barred on one networks you can use the other one (there are only two).

Yep, I believe that in the UK we are really trying to cut down on phone theft (It is a really big problem here)

I don't know the situation in other countries, but I know that phones are stolen on a massive scale, so to prevent this there are major drives to report stolen mobile IMEIs.

Here in the Netherlands they will work 100% :D

They do not work with blacklist here.. (phones never get barred here)
