I have just flashed my 8210 with MCU and PPM files. The phone was OK but with no signal. I then flashed EEPROM file and then the phone just comes up with CONTACT SERVICE. I then went to re-flash but the phone just keeps resetting ie. on and off constantly. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks for your help!!

Hi!
Try to flash full back up...think You can find it here: www.id2.cz
Than with kNok quick set FAID, reset user interface setings, reset full factory setings, reset SP locks, set new IMEI, use original IMEI
/on the back of Your phone/ quick set FAID..
Hope that helps...
Good luck!

Something in your flash was corrupt! Possibly your eeprom was written at wrong address! Just flash a full backup or carefully build a new one in Rolis and do as sergo_zmeia said! ;)
In that case if the phone keep restarting try check if you flash has not corrupt. used check fixer to fixed the flash and try use write insted of flash. use flasher by rolis 4.78 or higher and make sure write it from 200000 to 400000 make sure you have 2MB on flash file. that should help your problem being keep restarting every minute. I have that kind trouble before so I try other way t flash my phone and it's work good.

Thanks for your replies guys. sergo_zmeia, I don't understand the language of the site you posted for a full backup. Does anyone have a full flash backup for 8210 v. 5.31? I did make a backup before I flashed the phone. It separated into various fls files. Do I need to flash them to the phone one a time?
Cheers

Try this site!:
http://www.freegsm.biz/modules.php?name=Downloads&sd=660
You will then need to get a virgin Eeprom from the download section of this site! Use rolis to build the file one by one!;)
