Dead C45

Help please. My C45 is dead. When I press power, I only hear a single beep. The screen lights up for a short moment and then it's out again.

The phone doesn't even have a Tx signal anymore...

It all started when I tried to unlock it. I tried several programs like ksie and C45 tool 0.1b. I couldn't get any of these programs to work because they timed out waiting for the phone to power on. I assumed my cable might have a problem, but it worked fine with programs like S35 explorer etc. I even have succesfully flashed a C25 with in in the past. Now it just didnt work.
Finally I tried ZeeSiemensG3.exe and that was my mistake. This is what killed it.

I did use the search here and found this article (http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10734). However, ALL3/4v210cracked crashed as soon as I runned it. Then I thought, lets try it on win98. Maybe all those programs don't like XP. The program did indeed run on 98, but as I said, my phone doesn't give a Tx signal anymore. All these programs still wait for power on. Pressing the power button doesnt work.

Is there any hope for my C45?

My phone is alive again!

It was the cable after all....

For anyone who has problems with these tools not seeing the phone being powered on: here's the solution:

My cable (which has an integrated chip) took its power from the phone (pin 4 on the phone connector). The solution was to add an extra power source (standard 9volt battery) between pin 1 and pin 4 of the phone connector. Now turning the phone on is recognized by the programs!


What I did next was use All34v210 to write the flx file and set the IMEI. (I'm glad I wrote down my IMEI before I started all this stuff). The program started sending data, but stopped at about 2/3 of its progress bar. But this seemed not to be a problem.

Then I used KSIE 5.1 to unlock and change IMEI again (wasn't sure if it had worked). Then I disconnected the phone, removed battery and placed it back. And turned it on and then it was ALIVE!

(I'm only not sure if the unlocking went right. I don't have another sim here at the moment. I'll know tomorrow...)

hello guys. my speaker is dead on mine c45. i change it for a brand new one, and nothing. Last month, a saw the same problem on a A40. Any tips to help?

I have exactly the same problem...my phone only beeps...

I can update it with all32.. program but it doesnt change the fact thet the phone is still dead
