Hi all,Where can i find Rolis 4.79 I have searched for it, but can't find it anywhere.If someone can post it or give a link (that works)
that would be great.

why will you download 4.79? its more buggy then 4.78! Use 4.77!

Hi BigKing,Thanks for the info;The reason i wanted the 4.79 is that i was told that you can up/down grade dct3 software.If you can do it on 4.77 or 4.78 please let me know how.

you can up/downgrade the phone with every version of this tool!
Click on the flash button and choose the file you want to flash and thats all!

When i flash a different version to a phone it comes back as contact service.When you press flash then write flash file, is this what you mean.

contact service? check the checksums. or flash a new eeprom to the phone!

Just gave it a go and still getting contact service.Only way i can get rid of it is by flashing the same version to it.

I have a 3310's also have this problem with 3330's
I have another question for you! When they say about checking the checksums,How do you do it.

open the flashfile with g30lite and click fix checks and save the file(mcu and ppm only, NO EEPROM!!!)
flash it from 0x20 to the phone, virgin eeprom when you get cs, update faid with mbuscable, reset splocks and fix imei!
The phone must turn on now!

Sorry mate,you have really lost me now.I don't know my way around rolis that well.I have found g30lite & downloaded it.Cannot open it,or do i have to put it somewhere in rolis.
Can you put it in easy terms if posible.

you have to update faid after you flash a different version to the phone use eeprom tool from www.b-phreaks.com or nokiatool by jordik or simular program

i think noktool 1.8 or 1.9 by rollis are the best!
