Formating The 3650

Ok now i know you can just reset factory setings but that leaves some of the junk file ive got lyiong all over the phone

what i want to do is to totaly reinstall all software:eek:
how would one go about such a task

do you think that the backup feture would replace all the files and if so does anyone know where i can get a clean backup file from
(i was too stupid to make one and dont know anone else with the phone:p )

Just use *#7370# code to 'hard reset' ur s60 phone. for MMC, just format it manually;)

im having some dificulties backing up and restoring my contacts and messages.

i backed everything up with the pc suite but when i restore it the prob comes back. is there some software out there to backup the contacts, calender and messages?

nevermind, found a prog called contact manager and just put the msgs on the mem card :)

and set your mmc.

it doesnt work, my messages just stay on the phone memory

:roll: sorry...incomplete info...my fault.
simply retry and answer yes when asked to copy all messages in new memory,and answer no when asked to save origina l messages.
This works at least on my phone.....
