Hi, I have nokia 3530 and 7250. Can sum1 recommend me a free software to convert standard MIDI to SP-MIDI. At the moment I'm using PSM player to convert MIDI to SP-MIDI. But the main problem is the ringtone volume. Although I set the volume to 500% gain, sometimes the volume at the phone still to low. Thankz...

hello..

to convert midi to SP midi, try the nokia PC suite 5.1, there's a program inside of it (nokia ringtone converter, if im not mistaken) where u can convert the standard/normal midi to SP midi...as for the nokia PC suite, it doesnt support 3530/3510i coz there's no infrared support and no official nokia data cable support....u can still use the nokia ringtone converter to convert the tones but to upload it to 3530, u have to use MobiMB or Oxygen Phone Manager thru a F Bus/M Bus Cable...however, there's no real problem with 7250 coz nokia PC suite supports this great series 40 phone...

by the way, on PSM, i having the same problem too coz although the volume setting is set to the max 500, the tone still sounds very low...not really sure wats wrong here!!!:p :confused: :eek:

I've downloaded Nokia PC-suite 5.1. Right now i'm learning to use the ringtone converter. It's not as easy as I thought....;)

u are rite man...its not so easy as it looks like to be...even im having trouble converting midi to SP midi...anyway, good look to u!!!
