Robot-like voice in 3210... PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone [connected] !

I've got nokia 3210 [ v6.01 :) - flash with new graphics by me ]
but when somebody is calling or I want to call someone I get strange computer (robot-) like voice while chatting.

any suggestions what to do ????

I'd rather exclude problems with my v6.01 flash, I've got the problems before on v5.01....

Have you tried restoring the phone to deafult and setting the UI of the phone? i had encountered this on 6150 but after restoring it, it now wokrs 100% without the "robot voice"

How to do that ?

Simply by getting into Menu/Settings/Restore Factory Settings ???

or by Nokia Tool ( UI Setting / Apply SFS ) ????

isn't it harmful in any way to my phone ?

Use nokia tool (as you suggested) or jordik nokiatool (details on the last step of mcu/ppm tut at http://www.cellularbase.co.uk/ )

Nup - wont harm the phone a bit! Will reset all your settings, thats all. I've encountered the same sorta problem with the keypad tones before - thats why sfs reset is now a part of the cellularbase tutorials (just as a precaution!)
