Is possible to unlock dct-3 with keypad codes like in dct-4?

it ios possible, but the codes are not widely available like dct-4 codes.

it is only the network operators thet have the program needed to calculate the dct-3 codes.

I apologize in advance for being a complete n00b (hence the nick) though I'm hoping that you can help me with this one...
I have a Nokia 2100 phone (a DCT3 phone according to my research) which is SP-locked and I'd like to unlock it via keypress. So my questions are (1) is it possible to unlock my phone via keypress without use of any cables/dongles/whatever and (2) can I get a hold of the softwares needed for such without buying, in short, by downloading something over the internet?
If what I'm asking is illegal, then I apologize in advance.
Thanks and have a nice day!

If indeed the 2100 is a dct3 phone, then you cannot unlock the phone without cables etc, unless you get this from your network who will probably charge you for it. It may even be cheaper to buy the code as opposed to the cable, I don't know, research it! :)

I can get this phone unlocked here really cheap (~$4), I'm just afraid that it might get screwed up unlocking it by cable. And I'm just trying to look at all available options here.
I dig up a little further and I found out that there is no DCT-3 code generator that has been released. SO bye bye unlock via keypress.
Thanks for the reply!

Cool, glad you got it sorted.

It's too expensive to unlock phones in my area, it's cheaper to buy or build the cable and DIY.

hi

I have the same problem here with my 2100 , it 's locked ( displays : "invalid simcard") .

Is it the same pinout as the 8210 ? it looks so.

If so , wich programm to use ? many programs on the net are bad, it doesn't recognize the phone " phone not connected" .

use 8210 cable - is same for 2100

use nokia tools 1.8

cable must be in mbus mode.

press read info, and asfter SP option.
