So I got a 8210 with several lines missing on it's LCD. I figured out that it was faulty display driver (which is on the LCD). When I pressed the LCD on right spot it showed more lines, but one was still missing. I couldn't get that one line no matter how I pressed. So as a last resort I decided to heat the display driver a little (actually I think I heated it little bit too much because the glass started to turn its color :). I did this with small hot air blower. I was quite surprised to notice it worked!

Well I don't know if this is good way to do it but it worked for me. I do NOT recommend this kind of action, because it can kill your display completely. Just don't blame me if that happens. Do it only if you have nothing to lose (I was going to buy a new one anyway, but not anymore!)

But what to do with 8210 with mirrored LCD? It's propably display driver problem, but I was wondering if it could be mirrored again with software modification.

Anyway It's nice forum you got here!

Your problem was not a "Display Driver" or whatever that is, what you need is a new elastomer! Your screen will last maybe two weeks before it will revert back to usual! Invest in an elastomer, they cost about 2 pounds or so!;)

No it was not elastometer because when I turned it around, same lines were missing. And I did press the LCD many times in different ways but couldn't get it to work. After heating the display driver it started working. So it was not elastometer, which is most common problem with these 8xxx displays.
