hi would anyone be able to tell me if it is possible to recall and print out a list of every txt that has been sent from my mobile phone to another mobile phone my phone is a nokia 8310 and theres was a nokia 3310 on a different network plz help and how would this be done as i thought that if u deleted a msg from your phone it was gone for ever
ty
It's probably possible, but only by your operator and with a court order :)
Received SMS' are stored in the SIM. I don't think sent SMS' are saved, just the ...erm... "saved" ones (when you explicitly save a message as draft). Ask in the SIM forum as those guys know more about this kind of thing.
Sounds like there's a juicy story that you're not telling us... did you cheat on her, or did she cheat on you? (just my guess :))
George
Of course if you want to stop someone from gaining access to your SIM card's "deleted" data I recommend some petrol...
:D
Nothing is ever deleted, if necessary I am sure it's possible to recover the data, but you'd require money and experts...though as George suggsted the Sim forum would help.

<EDIT>
Okay, I just re-read your post and realised I should answer it slightly differently. It would be easier to recover the recieved text messages from the 3310 (the reciever). Your phone (the sender) would not have stored the text messages unless you explicitly saved them...then they could be recovered. Apart from that, there may be logs at your NSP...But still overall, I wouldn't be worried UNLESS the people who you want to hide the stuff from have a LOT of cash and know people...If you want to recover the stuff yourself, you probably would find it easier recovering it from the 3310 as I said...but still go to the Sim forum and ask.
Gluck!

I have read a post on this forum about this before! Someone HAD recovered every text message recieved and sent from an 8310! I can't find it in search, but it's here!!!:D
Now that's scary, if someone finds it, please post a link :)

I believe some phones gives you an option to save your outgoing messages. So every message that you sent gets stored in a sent box. Of course it'll be deleted when the amount stored is full.
As for recovering...never heard of it. The only way that might be possible is probably connecting the phone with a cable to your pc. I believe its unlikely that anyone can do that. The phone's internal memory or sim card has limited amount of space as it is, I just don't think it has any extra memory for storing sent messages.

Hi,
If I, by mistake, deleted a phone number from my sim, I'll get it again from my flashed eeprom.
It still is there maybe 4 times.
I dono bout sms messages, but alot of 'temporarily' stored phone variables are backed up to eeprom area.
Since eeprom writes at new locations everytime, the old contents might still be visible.
But he, knowing how to find is another question. ;)
