As I read some post in this forum about flashing fons and change/modified some menu in the fon and this come to my mind.

Is it possible to edit 6100 flash file and add a radio function in it like in 6610 ? so we have a radio on 6100 ...isn't that perfect ? I just don't like the look of 6610 neither 7250 which have both 6610/6100 menu.

If it's possible, have anyone ever try that and maybe have the .fls file and mind sharing it ? thanks a lot

No u can't do that on a 6100

It does not have the hardware which allows it to receive radio channels.

wat u are trying to say sound like trying to add IRda capability to let's say, 3210, which in the first place does not have the IR transciever as a hardware.

do u get wat i'm trying to say here?

imagine converting a 8088 computer to a pentium III w/o changing anything of it's hardware.
Impossible isn't it?

software isn't everything, w/o the supporting hardware, the software's USELESS......

You can have radio on 6100.
Dude, it's not software.
Thats a handsfree with radio in it (it takes voltage from the battery) - it's the same but no display!
