Can I send a SMS 2 a person without showing my REAL phone no. instead showing other "GHOST" no.???
and can this be dun when I make a call??
You can withold a call's number, but I don't believe you can Ghost it.
You cannot withold a text's number, but you can send it via an annonymous SMS service :)
So in short, sorry but no to both. To be honest the reasons are to stop cyber bullying and stalking I believe ;), it makes sense really.

yep you cant send messages as well as make a call without registering your number MANUALLY (using only your phone). however some SMS sites (internet) do this. i just forgot the address. but try this http://www.fonetastic.com -all you have to do is register ina different name so you wont be detected.
but whats the use? to bully someone?............karma........

I know of some smsc's where if you type *h# or *c# it withholds the number.

its true john.
but it depends on your network provider. like here before in the philippines (both SMART and GLOBE) allows us to use any SMSC number. so we could send messages using foreign SMSC numbers and send SMS for free. however today both GLOBE and SMART does not allow this anymore. even if you change your SMSC number to 1, you can still send SMS. (1 is not a valid SMSC number)

you type the *h# or *c# inside the message, before the text.
the #31# code is for calls, not for sms.
