If u use Nokia flash tool Which i use the start addr will already be in which is 200000

to use the files , unzip them , then unzip the .rar file and then flash the file to your phone (select 3310 on nokia flash tool )

I get the error attached when trying to open the rar in the zip file

any chance you could JUST zip them

if you want it to stop asking for a security code every time you switch it on. go into the phones settings and find the restore factory settings option in the phone. you will still keep all the extra 3315 stuff but it will not ask for a sec code every time you switch it on.:)

Do You have MBUS cable or F/MBUS ?

I used winRAR, highlight all 3 unzipped rar files (use shift key) then extract as 1 file and away you go.

Hey MFC... When i try to restore factory settings.. it ask for security code and when i type 12345 it says wrong code....

so... other suggestions ??

Try to renew your language pack in your phone. I change my phone to language pack A. After that I have no problem with the security code.

dont know what you did but here is how i change 3310-3315


** How TO Upgrade 3310 to 3315 **

1. Firstly backup your 3310 using Rolis v4.77, at the very least backup your EEPROM.
2. Flash the 3315.fls file onto the 3310 using Rollis v4.77
3. Connect the phone to a data cable and turn on and using kNok v2.2
- Phone Settings > Change IMEI (restore phones original IMEI)
- Phone Settings > Quick Set FAID
- Modify Locks > Reset SP Lock
4. Insert a SIM, the phone will ask for security code (12345)
5. Go to menu 6 > 4 and restore factory settings, this will stop the phone asking for a security code when turned on :)

its a bit longer than some other methods but it always works for me:)

When you switch on the phone it say "insert sim card"

But when I flashed back the origal file to the phone it shows

3315 is same as 3310. There is only one diference.....30th bit in EEPROM. If 30th bit is 0 that phone has function as 3310.
If this bit has value 1 that phone has function as 3315.

If you have 3310 with version 5.45 or high, just chance 30th bit.
You can do it by PCLocal.

So you doesn't need any special flashes for 3315. You need flash file for 3310 v5.45 or high.

No you can't , you'll need a flasher cable which is different from you data cable.

i have figured out how to upgrade to 3315 and i now have a fully working 3315 with all extra features. if u need a walk through add me to your msn messenger list or email me and i will help you.
this is where all the extra features are:

Picture message/Clipart editor: Menu - 13
SMS personal Tone: Menu - 5 - 5 - 6
Timed automatic keylock: Menu - 6 - 5
Timed profiles: Menu - 12 and then choose the profile you want select "Timed" and set the time for it to start.
Mass SMS eraser: Menu - 2 - 11 and choose which box you want to erase all of.

opened 3310ugrd145 and plugged my mbus cable

when i click convert 3310 to 3315 it says
"Incorrect phone detected for upgrade, only 3310 or 3315 are allowed!"

and resets the s/w.

but it worked when i flashed my phone with 5.47

get pclocals, restart your comp in dos mode and open pclocals read the product profiles and change produck profile bit 30 from a one to a zero press F2 to save the changes to your eeprom. Oh and you need v5.50 or higher first I beleave. and you use your mbus for this pc locals procedure, I did it and works every time I used v5.57.
