Unlock/Flash 3390 Gold v2.01 NPB-1RB

Hey folks!
So I got my nokia flasher(Dejan) and an MBUS/FBUS(switchable) in the last week for my Nokia 3390 gold.
I've done quite a bit but i wanna learn mroe before i flash it, dont want any boo boos.
Anyways my question is:
Is it possible to unlock a 3390 Gold v2.01 NPB-1RB with m/fbus? If not can anyone help me learn flashing?

If you want to just unlock it then its a simple mbus operation. If you are going to be doing any flashing (change menus/pictures/tones) then good luck on both checksum calculations and FAID calculation :). I would back up the phone anyway, just in case, with somethink like knok.

well NO progz work ive used over 10 diff unlock programs and as far as i can tell the only way to unlock my model is with an entire unlock box but you say it can be done via a 'simple mbus operation'. Any help is appreciated or any reccomend programs.

use rollis nokiatool 1.8 and click clear sp locks then sfr and your locks should be cleared, check with get info. just to make sure, the phone has to be on since this is an mbus thing but you probably already know that.

I didn't know you had to do unlock then SFR.
Now i can carry my cingular + voicestream sims around and only have to carry a 3390 Gold :D

Now maybe if you have time you could teach me the steps I need to go thru for doing full flashes.

Full flashes, I wish. 3390 has different checksums and FAID calculation. So If you want to edit it you will get (according to my experiences) either contact service or no network. Also certain resets on a 3390 gold (if you are using the KnoK flasher program and probably wintesla) make the aim menu go away so be careful if you try to experiment with that.

Dear Simply use DARK FLASHER VERSION 3.01 ..... it simple to use and it work on 3390. Dark Flasher Version 3.01 can unlock all DCT3

Unlocking was never the problem. Firmware modifications are. And partial flashing to unlock is a horrible hack.
