some can...
2100 has 3 different hardware models...
some of them work with normal dct3 software.. some not.. (I haven't got a clue which does and which doesn't...It depends on the chip used as far as I know.. )

I always thought dct3 was dieing (I prefer the solid old dct3 phones like 3310, always good for throwing at your Co-Workers!)

But apparantly the 2100 is a dct3, but as you can see above there are some complications.

I however would like to ask why you want to change the IMEI. I am aware it is illegal and I do not condone it, however I can see very few reasons to do it? :)

Wanna share you reasons :D?

Cheers

changing IMEI is illegal.

here in the philippines, they change IMEI when the phone is locked by the network provider. those phones wich are stolen! bad! very very bad! not welcome here in nokiafree!

I already said it was illegal natnat (and everyone knows it), there are some reasons to change the IMEI number which I feel are just and I would not consider wrong.

I would consider changing the IMEI to engage a stolen phone wrong, but that is what I am asking, why is he doing this?

And I don't know about it not being welcome at nfree, take a look around, far too much illegal stuff :P

Cheers :)

All knows that it is illegal and Nokia corp knows too..so if they really care they should find another good way to protect their phones.. hehehehehe
