My 3310 hanging when typing message

my 3310 hanging when typing message or when charging.

i tried to flash but no use. what to do?

Definately a software issue! Download new firmware from the net and a virgin Eeprom too! That should clear it up! Try go up a firmware!!!;)

I agree with Chunkhead, before you flash get the firmware version you are currently using by typing *#0000# with the simcard in.Then search the net for a good full flash or a separate MCU+PPM+EEProm for your model handset.

You can either go up/down with firmwares, but stay as close as you can to your original.If you can find a good, tried and tested flash for your current version, then use that.

The worse that will happen is that you will get "CONTACT SERVICE" from your phone when its switched on.

Remember to remove your sim card before flashing.As your firmware is buggy, not worth making a backup, its up to you!

connect phone to mbus

read the phone

check the sms box (special factory settings)

then click make selected

then restart phone.

if problems persists do :

device data or phone settings.
