How to upload files to WAP site

I have created my wap site at TagTag.com. TagTag doesn't allow one to upload files, so I uploaded my .sis files to angelfire and created the links on my TagTag site, but when I try to download the file on my phone it says "invalid file format"??

Does anyone know why this is happening??

Is there any other free WAP sites that let you upload files as well??

You have to just upload them to any other server, and just link to it through your wap site...

I tried doing that. I upload the file on Angelfire at the following address http://www.angelfire.com/wa3/aazain/wap/Camcorder.sis and created above the link on my wap site www.tagtag.com/ali-wap but when I try to download the file on my WAP phone I get the the error "invalid file format"

What am I doing wrong???

try freewebs.com. im using it as my storage. unlike to angelfire, they will blocked your account when you are using them as file storage.

dis advantage to freewebs, they only have 500MB of bandwidth limit.

tip: in using freewebs, just create different accounts. Each will just have ten files. to minimize the limit of bandwidth.

Thanks for your comment. I tried using freewebs and uploaded my file to the account. The link to the file is http://www.freewebs.com/aazain/camcorder.sis I created the same link on my wap site www.tagtag.com/ali-wap and when i try to download the file on my phone I still get "invalid file format" error.

Also when I try to see the wap site on tagtag.com viewer (on my pc) and click on the link to download the file, I get the error Invalid WML code

Still can't understand what I'm doing wrong... please help!!

yeah M8 i have the same problem, I always get "unkown file format" or "file is corrupt" on download, ive wasted a small fortune on attempting to download from the net, its getting highly annoying now as Ive no other way to get stuff :(

If I understand you correctly, you were able to download the file onto your phone from my wap site... Is that right???

If so, then there might be netwrok problems on my side.

you must setting mime type correctly into you wap site.

AddType application/vnd.symbian.install sis
