7210 unlocked only recieve txt???

Is this due to it not being unblocked?. I have a data cable but think its dead as when i plug my phone to it i get nothing even on the com 1- 2 ports. Can i unlblock it remotly or something. Thanks Jon

7210 is dct4, so you can post your IMEI and network code in the Codes Section (http://nokiafree.org/forums/f44/s), and you'll get a code to unlock your phone with.

here in the uk the most common reason for a phone to send/receive texts but not make/receive calls is due to it being barred. the network have barred the fones imei from the call center but have not barred it with the message center number.

Yup as above...

There is a difference between Unlocking and Unblocking... Unlocking is removing the SP Lock on the phone which is there to stop you from using sim cards from other networks... Not Illegal

Unblocking is changing the IMEI number of the phone so that it will work on the networks it has been blocked on after the phone has been reported Lost or Stolen... Illegal
