Hey all:)

Many software can send a sms via a datacable in zone 0
(directly to screen)

Does anyone know how to alter the flash to make all sms send from phone zone 0?

I can't remeber the site where there was some info about this.
It is only to alter 2bits in the sms header:)

Would be great:)

I wonder the same....

posted a thread at e-tones a while ago, but nobody knew anything there (either).

It would be really cool to send these "newsflash" messages directly from the phone. Can't someone figure out how to do this? :)

I know!

1. Go to message settings and choose a profile.
2. Go to Message sent as: "E-Mail"
3. Go to Write new message and don't input things into the normal field, press OK.

4a. Press send, in the E-mail address field, write your message.
-or-
4b. Go to Sending profile, choose your profile from point 1
write your message into the E-mail adress field, choose Alphanumeric (or Numeric I don't know anymore).

5. And now send it to the number.

Hope I'm right (but I think so) ;)

Good look

i don't think that will work...

don't you think people would know how to do it if it was that easy?

To GeeZuZz:
If it`s so easy? Who should come to the idea that it has something to do with this settings? I read it on many sites over the net. Maybe they could lie, but why?
Why don't you simply try it?

What do you think "Panuworld" does?
If you want to use Panuworld you need NokiaDataSuite ;)

PS: LogoManager can do this too and don't need other soft.

1. It didn't work. where am i supposed to put my number? in recievers adress? (where the mailadress is supposed to be)

I know that panuflash template uses something like this method, but it does not work either.

And i still don't think that sending a newsflash message can be done without editing the flash.
i'm very sure that many people would know how to do it i it was possible.

Write da message into da mail-field, press ok, input recievers number, done! (What do you mean with your number? Your own number or of the reciever?) If reciever, do what I've written, you haven't to write your own number.
Read the manual and choose from point 4a or 4b, I don`t know what works.

Good luck!

Don't work on 3310...

1. sent newsflash message to my phone with logomanager.
2. message was displayed, and I pressed read -> save.
3. opened the message in inbox -> forward
4. recieved the message as a NORMAL message. not directly on display.

am i supposed to select "unicode" in logomanager when i send the newsflash message?

I confirm that 3310 don't support forwarding "newsflash" messages. tried everything now. (including unicode).

slikmik

I didnt have unicode selected when i sent myself a message
you dont need it - only if you send it flashing u have unicode - instant class 0 (newsflash) you dont need unicode

works fine
for me

i have 3210
