so i bought one from here http://www.logosunlimited.co.uk/panasonic_cables.htm
and that cable does nothing either,
i have tried these cables on GD92 and GD67.
I have tested with Hyperterminal, the GD67 modem drivers, CB2000 and winmodo and all do nothing.

I got a feeling it's a datacable with pin4 & 10 enabled...
have u tried to use it on edit tools..which can only be used on datacable..
normally, the unlocking cable I was told is with pin 4 & 10 disabled....
If u want to use CB2000, a solution for that is to use a magic tap (cut it very thin) ...sticking it on pin 4 & 10 (virtually disabled)

@yarm
USE SCHEMATIC OF T191
USE PINOUTS OF GD92 FROM BRUCE PINOUTS
UR CABLE SHOULD WORK 100%
cheers!
is that for flash or data?

U can use for both
purpose
flash and data cable
Ive managed to build a data cable for my GD67 that works, it wont work when flashing yet but ill figure it out sooner or later.
i have got RX and TX going through a max232 as usual
but as well as connecting GND to pin 5 (acc_sense) i have connected GND to pin 4 (Data_mode0) and Pin 11 to Pin 12 (RTS to CTS)
the reason why i couldnt flash my phone is because nobody told me i had to press the power button while starting flash!!!! it works now!
May I have a copy of your working flasher/data cable?
have you seen the diagram with ghost3d written through it.
that circuit definitely works for flashing.
to make a data cable, use the same circuit diagram but connect pin 4 to 1 as well.
