Boot loader and flash loader. Meaning?

Hello I'm completely new to flashing and am unable to find a web site that explains how you choose the Boot loader or flash loader in the Dark Lemming Dark Flasher shell program.

Also I have the nokia flasher cables and have been trying to interface with a nokia 6310, 3330 and 7110 via the printer port however it just tells me the phone is not connected.

Can anyone help with either of these problems. Please

Go in bios and change parallel settings to EPP and try again

thanks for the advice but still to no avail. I even bought a parallel port to serial converter to see if it would pick it up on one of the com ports but I'm getting nothing. This is probably a stupid question but it doesn't need a driver does it?:mad:

no, doesnt need a driver. don't use that old program. Get yourself a copy of knok or rollis flasher and use that instead. and if you want to unlock go look for nokiatool 1.8

Rolis DCT-3 Flasher 4.78 and Knok 22 should work ok on the two last phones, but it can't work (Dejan Flasher, too) with 6310, because 6310 is DCT-4 phone.

if your printer port is set to ECP
then check what cpu type ur using and
try changing flash id list,(m0stly on 32mb on 3330,etc)
