What could it be used for ?
Just for fun ?
Probably no one will be interested, because it's useless to do such thing.

Actually it's not useless at all. There are people who would like to change a thing or two in the phone MCU. For this an emulator would be an invaluable resource. It's much easier to debug and test a change in an emulator than on the real thing. Much time is saved because of this.

However it is trully a hard task, because nobody has all the information needed (except Nokia guys - I guess they already have an emulator).

Sorry, I've missed reading the subject.
I thought @crackerboy was telling about some toy (not real flash simulator).

It could be said, that there is already something like that already, but it needs some knowledge about programing ARM machines (WinARM - machine code debugger for ARM machines (phones) with phone view).

Sorry once again...

Regards...

It wil be so cool is Nokia release a C compiler(and librarys) and some docs, just like sony dit with yaroze/ps2linux devkits for homebrew Playstation2 programmers...
