View Full Version : Nokia 5110 Ringtones

Gday,
my sister has a nokia 5110, and I'd like to add some additional ringtones to it. I'm hopeless with all these fancy programs but would like either a ppm with the special effect ringtones, and some others , or steps on how to add them.

make backup 00200000 - 00300000,save flash file

Use Flashtone 2.05.
1. open flash file
2. click mode then rine tone
3. File > open tone file
4. click insert
repeat 3,4 if you want to add more
5. save flas file.
6.flash it back to fone.
7.calculate FAID with Faidshell

i was trying to backup my 5110i from 00200000 to 00300000 using NOKIA FLASHER v1.0 but it wouldn't work, can u help me out what other tools should i use to back-up 00200000 - 00300000

use rolis 4.77 on back-up... press the green button not the darkgreen and press the power button slightly.

careful on modifying 5110i. :(

5110i are 00200000 - 00400000 i do believe...

FlashTone 2.05 is really buggy and doesnt play some notes so some ringtones will sound awful compared to those you may upload normally with LogoManager.

Make a backup and then copy the backup so you have the original and a file to work on, just in case.

After modifying the Ringtones, use PPM Manager to correct the PPM CRCs then Rolis to flash then Knok to calc the FAID.

Job done.

hi guys,


i tried to change the ringtones but the result signal to the network goes on and off, even i recalc the faid. is there any way to add or modify the ringtones for 5110i ?

After modifying the ringtones, use PPM Manager to correct the CRC's so that you can correctly calculate the FAID
